What You Can Buy on Ebay
Best from JDJ International Dolls
I love the white dress. Everything but the underlying criss cross pannel is really pretty. A more complex sleeve might have been nice, but it is still on of the most beautiful doll dresses I have seen.
The dressing screens are also very beautiful. Anyone who collects doll furniture ought to have one.
Sybarite Queen B: Not Deserving of Accolades
Fashions I Love From Gene
These remind me so much of Adrian's chic fashion show in The Women (1939). I think that in certain respects, Gene Marshall retains an allure that makes her worth buying now and again. At 15 inches, she can sometimes be transfered on to Sybarite and Tyler.
Favorites from Ashton Drake Galleries
I love monkeys. If I ever produced dolls, I would produce monkeys dressed in Jazz Age wear, as well as Monkeys in roccoco outfits.
The dress on the faerie is only about a hundred dollars, and it's worth the money in my opinion. The skirt is very beautiful because the black stripes keep it simple. The bodice is atrocious, but that's okay.
Alexandra Koukinova: Stunning Limited Editions
These must be my favorite dolls ever. They are so delicately sculpted. The clothing looks like it is transported from a stunning opera production.

Where Is Integrity at Tonner Dolls?
When it comes to the fashion dolls such as Tyler and certain special edition couture dolls, Tonner claims originality. But a claim is all it is. Some of Tonner's best-selling looks, including from the brand new Antoinette doll, unabashedly steal from today's (and history's) elite designers. They remain uncredited and unpaid. All that can be copied for mass production is: silhouette, embellishment, color, and design. Only fabric quality is altered, much in the same way as his Theatre de la Mode collection. In the following images, I will establish the outright plagiarism.
